      Error: ESEF.2.2.4.inconsistentDuplicateNumericFactInInlineXbrlDocument

      • Error location 

      This error message is located in Taxonomypackage Check:


      This error is linked to warnings in Taxonomypackage Check and xHTML Check.

      • Error explanation

      This error is triggered when you have different values for the same account in different financial statements.


      In the example below, the element Profit (loss) is used both in the Income Statement for the account “Profit for the period” and in the SOCIE for the account “Net earnings”, but the values are not the same, which triggers this blocking error. 


      Fixing this error will clear the other warnings associated with it. 

      • How to solve it


      1. Go to the Viewer tab.
      2. Click on the ‘Highlight errors’ button.
      3. Find the first red account and click on it. 
      4. Click on ‘Toggle secondary sidebar’ to inspect the details. 
      5. Click on the right arrow to navigate to the second instance of the same element.
      6. Compare the values. In this example one account is 567,151 and the other is 567,150.
      7. Align the figures in the PDF/EPUB and in the Excel Template, save and convert again. 

      Note: Clicking on the eye icon next to the error message in the Validation Summary will also take you to the error in the Viewer tab.
