We want to add a new account to our Excel template, how can we do this?

If you have a new account in your financial report, you need to add a new row in the corresponding sheet in your Excel template.

Because our simplified tags are dynamic formulas, they will expand to include new rows.

After you’ve added the new row, you can upload your updated Excel file without your PDF to the ParsePort XBRL Inspector for a technical check.

In most cases, our system will pick up your new accounts and automatically associate them with the proper taxonomy element.
