What should we send to our auditor for review?

When you've converted your file and want your auditor for review, they will likely provide you with a list of the different things they want, but in case they haven't, we've compiled a list of what we suggest you provide your auditor with, to assure a smooth review.

What you should send to your auditor:

  1. The .zip-file you downloaded after converting your report to iXBRL (you can download this in the ParsePort XBRL Converter)
  2. A factlist. The factlist is a list of each taxonomy element used in your report (this is not part of the zip-package, but you can download it from the ParsePort XBRL Inspector)
  3. An extensionslist is like a factlist, but instead of listing taxonomy elements, it lists each extension used within your report (this is not part of the zip-package, but you can download it from the ParsePort XBRL Inspector)
  4. A viewer file. The viewer file is a version of your iXBRL report which has the viewer embedded within, which means the file is easily consumable without dedicated software such as the ParsePort XBRL Inspector. (This is not part of the zip-package, but you can download it from the ParsePort XBRL Inspector)
