The implementation is part of the onboarding process at ParsePort. For the implementation phase, ParsePort will introduce the ESEF tagging by ParsePort on your latest ESEF report and give you the training needed.
How long the implementation takes depends mainly on two different factors:
The first factor is the files in your financial report (some reports take longer to prepare than others).
The second factor is how close to a deadline we are.
The closer we are to the most common reporting deadlines, the more companies are in need of our services, which will sometimes cause a short delay in the time between you signing the contract and us being able to onboard you.
Below you can see an overview of the onboarding process:
1. Signing the contract
The first step in the process to becoming ready for ESEF, is signing the contract. When you receive this welcome package, the contract has already been signed and the wheels have started turning to make sure that you will become ready for ESEF in time.
2. Gathering your files
After signing the contract a member of the support team will contact you to first welcome you on board, align with the upcoming steps and request access to your latest files. Mainly, the request is a PDF of your most recent annual report and/or your previous ESEF file.
3. Preparing your files
When you have provided the requested files, they will be sent off to multiple members of our Professional Services team that will prepare your annual report for iXBRL conversion which includes creating a mapped Excel template for you to use during conversion and every aspect needed to generate your ESEF report fully compliant with current requirements.
4. Implementation & Training
When the files have been prepared, we will be in touch with you once again to arrange an implementation meeting where you will go over the ParsePort Platform, its needed input files and learn how to employ your chosen ParsePort products.
5. Delivery
After the implementation meeting, will finalize the files based on any of your additional comments during the session (If any). After this has been done, you will receive the files along with access to the ParsePort Platform.
