How to create the xHTML file?

The xHTML file could be needed if you are reporting non-consolidated figures.

According to ESMA, issuers must prepare their annual financial reports in the human-readable xHTML (Extensible Hyper Text Markup Language) format, which can be read by standard browsers without the need for specialized tools.

How to generate an xHTML file?

  1. Start by navigating to parseport.com where you can use your credentials to log in.
  2. After logging in, you need to start by using: Convert feature to create your xHTML file in the system by uploading the PDF. This can take a couple of minutes depending on how big your file is and how much visual data it carries.

  3. Once the conversion is complete, you will be redirected to the Validation tab.

Click the first icon labeled "Download ZIP package" at the top right corner of the page. This will prompt the download of the xHTML file.

Please disregard that the icon is labeled "Download ZIP package”, this is due to our portal being used for converting multiple different formats.

Additionally, you can use ParsePort Inspector Manual where export options are explained in detail.
