My published report has a number of non-blocking errors, will they be visible to the average consumer?

The short answer: No. When you hand in your ESEF report, there can be some errors which are non-blocking, such as rounding errors (inconsistency errors). This, however, means that your published report might contain errors, which you do not want to broadcast to the average consumer.

Luckily, you need to view the file through a dedicated report consumption software such as the ParsePort XBRL Inspector to be notified of the existence of these errors. So, anyone who accesses your report by downloading the XHTML version with the viewer embedded will not be notified of these errors.
