Untagged values

There are no error or warning messages in this case. 

  • Explanation

This happens when you have values that are present in your report (PDF/EPUB) but not in the Excel template. You will not get an error message, but the values will not be tagged, so you need to check if  all values are highlighted after conversion. 

  • How to solve it


  1. Go to the Viewer tab.
  2. Click on “Highlight facts” - all the values that are tagged will now be highlighted in green or yellow.
  3. Scroll down to your Financial Statements. If some values are not highlighted, add them to the Excel template to make sure that it matches the PDF/EPUB, save, and convert again. 

Note: Please consider that the missing tagging often comes from the dashes (-) either not present in the PDF/EPUB and/or the Excel.
