2.7.1 Ensuring report validity against XBRL specifications

ESMA recommends that we ensure that each XBRL document MUST be valid against the assertions specified in the ESEF taxonomy. Furthermore, each document SHOULD also be valid against the assertions specified in the ESEF taxonomy.

If MUST:

As per ESMA guidelines, each XBRL document MUST be valid against the assertions specified in the ESEF taxonomy. 

If SHOULD:

As per ESMA guidelines, each XBRL document SHOULD be valid against the assertions specified in the ESEF taxonomy. 

Whenever these guidelines  are not followed, the ParsePort Platform  will give one of the below messages:

Violation: “targetXBRLDocumentWithFormulaErrors”
Violation: “targetXBRLDocumentWithFormulaWarnings”
