The easiest way to test if the mapping is intact after you changed something in your Excel file, is to run your files through the conversion portal and check the error report afterwards. You should, however, always remember the alliance between the contents of your Excel file and your PDF, so any changes you make in your Excel file you should make a corresponding change in the PDF.
